What we collect, why we need it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1.What we collect

  • Your mobile number, and your name and email if you give them
  • Delivery addresses you save or enter at checkout
  • Order history, including what you bought and how you paid
  • What you search for and view on the site, so we can improve results
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type

2.What we do not collect

We never see or store your full card number, PIN or bKash password. Online payments happen inside the payment provider’s own checkout, and we only receive back whether the payment succeeded and a reference number.

3.Why we use it

  • To take and deliver your orders, and to contact you about them
  • To let you track orders and start returns
  • To detect fraud and abuse
  • To improve search, recommendations and the catalogue
  • To meet legal and tax obligations

4.Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary, and never sell your data.

  • The seller of the item, so they can pack it — name, address and phone only
  • Courier partners, for delivery and the delivery call
  • Payment providers, to process an online payment
  • Government or law-enforcement bodies where we are legally required to

5.How long we keep it

Order records are kept for six years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Search and browsing history is kept for 12 months. If you close your account we delete the rest, except where we are required to keep it.

6.Your choices

To make any of these requests, email support@rupaporup.com.bd from the address on your account, or call 16793.

  • Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong, from your account page
  • Ask us to delete your account and data
  • Opt out of marketing messages at any time — this never affects order-related SMS

7.Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, to remember your cart between visits, and to measure which parts of the site people use. Blocking cookies will break the cart and sign-in, because those are what the cookies are for.
